Los Angeles (April 16, 2020) — Actor Jamison Jones stars in the new IFC Midnight movie, THE WRETCHED, scheduled to hit theaters and VOD on May 1, 2020

In this chilling suspenseful thriller, Jones plays the deuteragonist Liam Shaw, father of Ben (John Paul Howard, Hell or High Water)—the troubled son who struggles to convince his dad that something evil has moved in next door. Together, they must save the town from the intemperate danger.

Set in a lakeside community à la Jaws, this Creature Feature meets Rear Window earned an unprecedented 92% on Rotten Tomatoes and is distributed by IFC Midnight. Variety calls THE WRETCHED, “A well-paced middleweight nightmare”; and The Hollywood Reporter touts it as “a thoroughly engrossing dark fairy tale.”

The Wretched also stars Piper Curda (Rule the Mix), Kevin Bigley (Sirens), Zarah Mahler (Nightmare Cinema) and playing Jamison’s love interest is Supergirl star Azie Tesfia.
